The Feathers Hotel is getting one step closer to the opening of its brand new restaurant and bar and is calling on valued members of the public to re-name it.
The iconic hotel is currently undergoing a full refurbishment programme that is now in excess of £1.5million and to mark the opening of the restaurant is inviting suggestions for its new name which will go on to be used by the hotel team.
Group Sales Manager, Sarah Tunnadine said: “This is your chance to take your place in history and help us to re-name our new restaurant. We have had a lot of ideas ourselves but really want the public to get involved and create a name that reflects the stature and personality of the building. The hotel is a valued part of the community and we hope people embrace this opportunity to work with us as it is such a critical part of the hotel’s offering.
“We are looking for a name that pays homage to the history and heritage of the hotel but that packs a modern, contemporary punch and can’t wait to hear the suggestions.”
The new restaurant, which aims to achieve accreditation with two AA Rosette’s within 6 months, will be fully opened for guests next month and the chosen name for the restaurant will feature heavily in all signage and marketing materials. The person whose name is chosen for the restaurant will be thanked with a VIP meal for four people at the official opening night on Thursday, 17th October 2019 before it opens to guests on 18th October. To enter, please email your suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org by Sunday 15th September or leave a comment on the hotel’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/thefeathershotelludlow
