 Wedding Functions

Choosing your wedding venue can be one of the most important decisions you are likely to make. Here at The Feathers we aim to make your experience as comfortable and stress free as possible. Rest assured your special day will be in good hands with attentive staff and a warm friendly atmosphere. Experience the sense of nostalgia as you arrive at this world famous original 17 th century coaching inn. Your guests will join you on a journey back to these magical ancient times.

Car Parking
The hotel does have a free residents car park and guests attending a conference or function here are welcome to use our car park. However, spaces are limited and the car park works on a first come first serve basis. If you do find that the car park is full there is plenty of parking in Ludlow itself.

Private Bar
The Prince Charles Suite has its own bar which is ideal if you are planning to have a meal or function with us. On booking the Prince Charles suite for your function you must state whether you would like this bar open and how you would like the drinks to be settled.

Flowers
These can be arranged by the Hotel or by yourselves.

Wine and Champagne
The Hotel offers an extensive wine list for guests looking to purchase wine to go with their meal. However if you would like to supply your own wine and champagne for your function a corkage charge will be incurred of £9.75 per 75cl bottle of wine and £12.75 per 75cl bottle of champagne.

Music and Entertainment
The Hotel will not arrange for any music or entertainment to be supplied at your function, but if you make your own arrangements please notify us in advance.

Deposit Required To Guarantee Booking
For parties of 25 people and over we require a deposit of £325.00 (non refundable)
For parties under 25 we require a £15.00 per person (non refundable) deposit.
For Parties under 30 their will be a £60.00 charge for the use of the function bar.

 Reception Rooms

The Prince Charles Suite
In the style of a Baronial Hall with ‘minstrel gallery’ the Prince Charles Suite has its own separate entrance from the hotels car park.
The Prince Charles Suite is the largest of our function rooms and is ideal for large conferences, wedding receptions and private parties.
There is provision for direct service from the kitchen for banquets up to 90 (maximum 70 seated), the room also has its own private bar.

The Queen Elizabeth Suite
Situated off our courtyard, recently refurbished to a high standard and containing a private bar, the Queen Elizabeth Suite is the ideal setting for more intimate wedding breakfasts & receptions and is able to accommodate up to 28 guests.

The James I Lounge and Writing Room
The James I Lounge is an ideal setting for a couple who wish for a small, intimate wedding. The room can hold up to 40 guests standing and a maximum of 25 seated. The Writing room is linked to The James I Lounge via double interconnecting doors, this room is a perfect setting for a drinks reception to follow your wedding. We can also serve a wedding buffet in this room for couples who would prefer not to have a sit down dinner.
